Obituary of Jerry Ronald Daniels

.Mr. Jerry Ronald Daniels, age 77, a resident of Winter Haven passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Lakeland Regional surrounded by family. Mr. Daniels was born March 16, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a Polk County resident since the 1950’s coming from North Florida & Alabama. Jerry was a retired 2 Way Radio Technician, member of ARRL Amateur Radio, and was a Ham Radio Operator. He served the country he loved in the United State Navy aboard the USS Newman K. Perry during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed tinkering, yardwork, being outdoors, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his mother – Mavis Shatney and several uncles. Jerry is survived by his loving family, wife of 46 years – Rosemary Daniels of Winter Haven; son – Paul (Tani) Daniels of Barberton, OH.; 2 daughters – Pamela (Charlie) Lyons of Winter Haven and Stephanie (Scott) Schnackenberg of Poughkeepsie, NY.; sister – Frances Pritchard of Winter Haven; 7 grandchildren – Hannah (Terri), Cayla (Seth), Charles (Kacey), Ashley, Connor, John Taylor “Jack” and Aimee; 3 gt grandchildren – Judah, Arielle and Ezra. He will also be dearly missed by extended family and friends. A celebration of life with military honors will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 6th at Bartow Church of God, 1460 E. Stuart St.

The church will be open on Saturday at 1130 am for flowers delivery ( Church closed on Friday) Do not deliver flowers to the funeral home.
