Obituary of Phyllis Ann Tucker

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Tucker, age 82 a resident of Polk City passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at her granddaughter’s home surrounded by family. Mrs. Tucker was born May 31, 1939 in Lorraine, Ohio to Daniel Joseph and Sophie (Ciechowski) Walker. She was a Polk City resident for over 30 years coming from Ohio and retired after 20 years from Summit Consulting as an Insurance Claims Adjuster. Member of formally Carpenter’s Home Church of Lakeland. She enjoyed riding with her husband their Harley Motorcycle, crocheting, word search puzzles, dogs and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 55 years - Robert Tucker of Polk City; 4 sons – Randie (Di) Carnes of Winter Haven, Larry (Charlotte) Carnes of Sanford, Robert Michael (Patricia) Tucker of Winter Haven and Carl (Cindy) Tucker of Eagle Lake; 4 daughters – Sandi Noffsinger of Waynesville, OH., Suzanne (Jay) Beigley of Columbus, OH., Tammy (LeRoy) Clevenger of North Ft. Myers and Cathy (John) Todd of Waynesville, OH.; brother – Daniel J. Walker of Orlando; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 31st at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10.
