Obituary of Vicki Marie San Martin

Mrs. Vicki San Martin, age 71 a resident of Auburndale passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice surrounded by her family. Mrs. San Martin was born September 20, 1949 in Newman, Georgia to Eugene Barge and Sara R. (Jones) Johnston. She was an Auburndale resident since 1994 coming from Marianna, Florida. Vicki retired after years of service as an Operating Room Registered Nurse working at Winter Haven Ambulatory Center for 25 years.  She was a member of The Church on the Hill in Dundee and a member of the Association of OR Nurses. Vicki enjoyed watching TV shows like Cops, SVU, Criminal Minds and loved to spend time with friends & family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother – Terry and sister – Ellen. Vicki is survived by her loving family, husband of 42 years – Julio R. San Martin of Auburndale, FL.; 2 sons – Gabriel A. San Martin of Vero Beach, FL. and Julio M. San Martin of Pinellas Park, FL.; 3 sisters – Cuqui SanMartin of Miami, FL., Olympia S. Martin of Birmingham, AL. and Marta E. San Martin of Miami, FL.; many nieces, nephews & cousins. A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 24th at Kersey Funeral Home with an inurnment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
