Obituary of Timothy Wayne Hodnett

Mr. Timothy Wayne Hodnett, age 54 a resident of Auburndale passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Mr. Hodnett was born January 3, 1967 in Dunedin, Florida to Lonnie Wayne and Jimmie Carolyn (Johnstone) Hodnett. He was a Polk County resident for 50 years, graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1986 and was a River Ranch property owner. Tim was a Machine Operator for Coca Cola. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his side by side, watching football, his 1973 Bronco truck, his dogs and spending time with his family & friends. He was preceded in death by his stepson – Bradley. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 7 years – Jo Lee Hodnett of Auburndale; parents – Lonnie & Jimmie Hodnett of Winter Haven; brother – Terry Hodnett of Winter Haven; stepdaughter – Jami Smith of Killeen, Texas and his grandson – Odie Donahoe of Auburndale. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Tim’s’ name to: Good Shepherd Hospice, 450 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL. 33823. There are no services scheduled for Tim at this time. An inurnment will be held at a later date.
