Obituary of Linda O Fitzsimmons

Mrs. Linda Overton Fitzsimmons, age 71 a resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Lakeland. Mrs. Fitzsimmons was born November 3, 1946 in Lakeland, Florida to Harold and Willie Doris (Roberts) Overton. She attended Auburndale schools and was a lifetime Polk County resident. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister – Sandy King; stepbrother – Charles Huff and 2 grandchildren – Alisha & Katlyn. Linda is survived by her loving family; Husband of 50 years – Max Arthur “Art” Fitzsimmons; 3 daughters – Lori Winkler, Suzy (Wayne) Meeks & Vicki Fitzsimmons; 3 brothers – Mike (Totesy) Carr, Steve (Sandra) Carr & Jeff Carr; 2 sisters – Bonnie Middleton & Joanne Kemple; 3 grandchildren – Tristin, Marissa & Kayli; 1 great grandson – Tye. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 14, 2018 at Kersey Funeral Home.
